Instagram is something of a gratitude journal for me — I'm on a mission to find #BeautyInTheEveryday. Almost all are taken on an iPhone. I believe that the power of an image has very little to do with the camera it was taken on.
Some of my photography is represented at naturepl.com. There's a lot of wildlife here, but what do you expect, I was a wildlife film maker for 25 years. Besides, getting the photograph while avoiding being bitten by either the subject or the mosquitoes is excellent training for working with clients.
I fell in love with photography at an early age, in awe of its power to evoke strong feelings in the viewer. I'm a BAFTA-winning producer and director, and I've worked with some of the biggest names in TV. I've run photo shoots all over the world. Today I live in Bend, Oregon.
I've run entire productions from concept to delivery. I understand how photography fits into the process, and I never treat it as an isolated role.
I've led live TV crews of more than a hundred people on location in the Alaskan wilderness. Wherever your shoot is, I'll make sure every part of the logistics is taken care of.
